Prototyped assistive glasses for paralyzed eyelid movement using a pulley-based mechanism and Arduino control.

Design aims

  • Mitigate further progression of ptosis associated with the standard magnetic-weight solution.
  • Provide a more aesthetic alternative to permanent eyelid closure.
  • Use a pulley system and small motor to enable consistent blinking, customized to the patient’s needs.
